Well, today is the big Garage sale! I can't wait to get stuff out of my basement and hopefully off to a new home! I am selling quite a bit of stuff and my neighbor is having one, too... and then 3 other ladies in the strata complex where I live. Might be a jackpot stop!!! Well, anyone who wants to come, even just to visit... come on down! Friday: 4-8:30pm and Saturday: 9-noon.

By the way, update on the computer: Still waiting for the big fix. Hoping by next week. Seems like this thing is dragging on forever! Can't wait to have my good old computer back!

Computer update

Well, I am sure some of you may think that we are giving up blogging but we are not at all. We have a back log of pictures just waiting to be posted. We don't want to upload them all on our computer just yet because we are going to be formatting it soon whenever we get our new motherboard. So, don't give up on us... be patient. We hope to be back regular within a week. Will be posting soon.

Mother's Day

Just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the moms who read our blog.
I am so blessed to have so many mothers close to me to share this day with. I am definately blessed to be a mom.
My kids and Adam bought me cards and bath stuff. Adam let me go to church with Joshua and Annabelle because Joel was too sick. He stayed at home with Joel and I was so glad to be able to hear the sermon at church. The church handed out roses to all the moms. That is always nice and Joshua made me a special candle and a card in Sunday school. Anyway, all these little things... I just love being a mom. It is such a rewarding "job". Adam took me and the kids out to the river to fish and spend time together. I was wonderful. A day full of having fun, being a mom. I truly do feel blessed.
I hope all you moms felt blessed today.
Happy Mothers Day!

For My Mom

Thank God for Moms like mine!
She has loved me no matter what, good times and bad. Even when I shamed her, she forgave. When I didn't know where to go, she guided me. When I needed a hug, she hugged me. She loved me the way that I needed all through my life. I can't thank God often enough for allowing me to have such a wonderful mom.
I love you Mom and I am so proud of you! I wish I could hug you now and make some tea and talk for hours. I miss you and can't wait till you come back.

My hubby put this on our blog when he first started it up. I just got this all layed out so nice in an email from my good friend, Carmen so I thought that I would post it again. It is great truth! The layout doesn't work that well with the blog but I hope you all can read it anyway.

Carnival!!!

Last weekend was the carnival. Adam and I decided that, though we were broke, we would treat the kids to a fun night out. Our computer is still not fized so it is painfully slow to post pics... that is why I am so behind on posting. Enjoy the pics!!!
Joel loved this one so much that the lady running it let it go and go. By the time it stopped, every round Joshua would say, "can I get off now mom" in a whinny little voice. We laugh and laughed because Joel was still so excited about it. Great time! Posted by Picasa
Buying tickets. just couldn't resist the rides! Posted by Picasa
Ready to ride the monkey ride. It just goes round on a circle track... could be pretty boring you say?? Not for us, you control how fast your monkey spins with the big, black wheel in the centre. Blaine had it going fast enough that the kids were pretty much stuck to the back of the seat! It was hillarious!!! Posted by Picasa
Ruth and Mark. So nice to see so many friends there. As we went around to rides and games there were so many people to chat with! Posted by Picasa
Blaine and Joel were not impressed with the bench but the people running the ride said he wasn't big enough to go on a horse. Annabelle needed to be held so Virgie did the honors. It was really cool for Joshua and Annabelle! Posted by Picasa
Adam looks excited hey?! Cute Hon. Posted by Picasa
Blaine and I couldn't go on this one so we sent Virginia and Adam on. It was so fast I had a lot of trouble getting a good picture, but there they are, having a blast! Posted by Picasa
Just a foot and a half too short, maybe next year! haha Posted by Picasa
I love the Ferris Wheel! It is one of the only rides that I can stomach. I am a bit of a baby on rides! I think Joshua will probably be more like me but Annabelle sure takes after Daddy! NO FEAR!!! Posted by Picasa
Annabelle was so brave!!! I couldn't believe that she went on this... and loved it! Joshua got too scared at the last minute so I asked the guy if she could go. He said just to make sure we held on to her because the seats are not made for kids that small. We did and she sure was happy to be on such a big ride! Posted by Picasa
Virginia's and my favourite game... Bowler Roller. The guys didn't have much luck but Virg and I both won stuffed cute, soft doggys! And Virgie got a mini pink bulldog, too, so she gave it to Blaine. How sweet!!! Too bad it was hot pink! haha Posted by Picasa
The water race. No, they didn't win... but had fun trying. Posted by Picasa
Adam insisted that Blaine try this game. It was fun but Blaine knew the trick and knows that you have to have the perfect shot to get it in. Next to impossible but I won't tell the trick... so no perfect shot here. Posted by Picasa
This guy gave the kids lots of tosses. That was nice, didn't win anything though haha. Posted by Picasa
Looks like fun hey?!? That is my stuffed dog I won too. Joel has kinda claimed it though. Posted by Picasa
You can imagine this is one of Adam's very favourite parts of the carnival. He took a turn with each of the kids, fishing for coloured chips in fish mouths. Depending on the colour of chip inside you win a stuffed toy of that size. Annabelle won a medium and large toy... not really large but that is what they call it, and the boys each won a small teddy bear. Cool for kids because everytime you play, you win! Posted by Picasa
Besides the cold, we were blessed to have a pretty nice evening for our family outing. Looks like the rain was coming though! Posted by Picasa
 Posted by Picasa
Thanks to Adam, we remembered to grab some cotton candy on our way home... great treat for everyone after such a fun evening! Posted by Picasa

A day out with kids!!!

Okay, about 2 weeks ago Adam was going out fishing for the day with a friend so I decided to take the kids to the lake. It was a beautiful day! We got to the lake and it was closed for construction! So I had to figure something out. I had heard that Ferry Island, a camp ground near the river, had put in a nice playground and there are always little ponds and such around so I took the kids there. We played at the park for a while and then thought that we would walk down to the water. We started on our walk and I looked behind and recognized 2 kids behind us. I finally stopped and walked back to see if it was who I thought and sure enough it was. Tanya, a new friend, fellow blogger, and her kids were right behind us. So we walked along together and had a great time!!! This is an enormous amount of pics of out day. I thought that there were just too many cute ones to pass up!!!

What a goof!!!

She got this the first go at it!

FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Picnic time!

New parks are always scary because of Annabelle... absolutely NO fear!

BIRDS!!!

Forgot this cup at the park :( It was my favourite!

I love putting the kids in shorts!!!

Crackers always work for a snack, keeps 'em going anyway. Stopped for a little picnic.

It took him a few times but he mastered this!

Syd looks excited for a new dicovery!

Spying on the little critters.

What an adventure!
