It finally ends

The transaction is complete and the house is cleaned. It was a lot of work but my mom sold her house. I am so proud of her. It was tough to let it go for all of us as our who lives were wrapped up in the building of it, but what a blessing to be done with it. Christy's parents, Randy and Marlene, bought the place and are so excited to make it their dream home. I love that they bought it because I can still watch the process of it coming together into a dream, like it was always meant to be. I took a few pics for my memories, especially my room as I was always writing stuff on my unfinished walls. Dreams, sometimes they have to die for new ones to start. I know that God has a better plan for my mom.She is starting over, and again, I am so proud of her.
Mom started school this September and is looking into buying a really cute little trailer with some of the money from the sale of the house. How exciting! Pics to come if the sale goes through! Life sure is changing, I think for the better. Thank God that He never changes and that we can always rely on Him when everyting else crumbles. My mom has always been such an example of that for me. Relying on God in every situation and she always comes out better in the end.

I'm so glad that she has a new beginning and is able to start fresh, that the things in the past can be left there and that she is able to move on!

I think Tanya said it better!LOL!
Sorry I was only thinking of the finished house and not of the emotions attached with letting it go!

Jenny,
I believe it will be gorgeous. Christy's parents are like miracle workers when it comes to making things beautiful. And yes it was tough going through the memories, but much needed and it gets easier the more we go through.

Charlene, please tell your Mom that any kindness I can express to her pales in comparison to the blessings that she has personally extended to my life simply by her bold act of obedience to God in writing me a letter telling me to seek a church in Korea (quoting from Hebrews 10). We are talking about LIFE CHANGING stuff that still blows me away! Where would I be today if your Mom wasn't there?! I can't help but shed tears of gratitude even as I consider this!

Your mother sounds like a beautiful and amazing woman Char! Obviously she must be because she raised such an amazing daughter who has an undeniable belief in faith and strength in character. I am blessed to have begun a friendship with you and your family!!
