Well, we didn't have the money but had to buy some new pots as I was noticing teflon coming off in food when I was cooking with my old ones. I would have settled for a cheap set but this set was on sale, regular $399.99, it was 60% off! We thought that we may as well get something good as I have many years of cooking ahead of me. Anyone who cooks much can imagine how excited I was!!!

You bought that at Canadian tire, right? I saw that sale, but my husband just bought a mountain bike (that we are paying off)I scraped the van and it's tax time. So I couldn't justify new pots. Enjoy!!!!
Actually this was at Zellers but I wouldn't doubt it could have been at Canadian Tire too. Possibly trying to sell out of stock. Did you notice that Zellers also has 60% off all fishing stuff? I notice a couple of pics of your hubby and kids fishing. Maybe you would want to check it out. There is still quite a bit of stock. What do you mean, "scraped the van"? Yeah, I never imagined I would get good cookware until I was an old lady :) What a blessing!!!
You know the big light posts in the Safeway parking lot? I was parked in front of one. It looked like I had lots of room to drive forward, but it turned out that I couldn't see the bottom of the lamp post. I drove ahead and scraped the side of our van. It's only an 8 inch scrape, but the van's only 2 years old. I need to go and get an estimate this week sometime. So...be careful in the Safeway parking lot. You're probably not like me though. You'd back up instead of going forward....oh well.
Did you cook your family a feast??
That sucks about your van. Our's is over 10 years old so I wouldn't even notice if it got scraped. All the paint is pealing off anyways. But I always go forward, rarely back up, unless I am forced to so I will be careful in that parking lot!
I didn't cook a feast yet because we got home too late. Adam made us a quick meal of corn dogs. :) So, tonight we have a meeting here and then tomorrow night I will make the feast!!! It makes cooking so much more enjoyable. Even just making campbells soup for the kids was fun!
