X-mas indeed!!!
Went over to Mark and Jen's. Unfortunately there was this Santa there, who sang some Christmas tunes while struting his stuff. I jokingly said I bet he doesn't sing Away In a Manger. I have problems with Santa. If you take the N out of his name and put it at the end it spells Satan and I don't think it's a coincidence. His last name is Clause but proper spelling is CLAWS from the demons hands that sprang forth this character. He lives in the coldest place on Earth to disguise the fact he's from the hottest spiritual place, Hell. A big problem with Santa is the fact he only judges Naughty or Nice but does nothing to help people make up for it and change which is what Christmas and Christ are all about, starting over with Peace with God. Good time to note naughty people get coals in their stocking indicitive of the stoking fires of hell. It's a sad, sad world when Christmas has become all about this fat boy in a red suit instead of the birth of Christ to have people born again and enter heaven. I might add Christ won't sneak in your chimney and take cookies and milk on his way out, this sounds like gluttony and bribery to me and I don't think people can bribe God. But hey let's relax about it. It's only our eternal souls we're talking about here. Cheers!!

you may have your opinions of santa and that is great.even though we may not yet be a christian i still teach my children about the real meaning of christmas. it's great to have the christmas spirit.cute picture though.
Hey, bro!
It would be good to point out to all that Saint Nicholas was also a devout believer in Christ. He was a REAL person who wished to point others to Christ and not take any attention upon himself.
They have a great book for kids to teach them about Saint Nicholas at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0849914922/102-4036323-2613740?v=glance if interested.
The book is called, "Santa, are you for real?"
Blessings, as the season of Christmas begins!
Teaching about Santa as a myth: Parents can teach the historical legends associated with St. Nicolas. They are great stories which discuss the importance of generosity and sharing even if they are based on events that never happened. At the same time, parents can teach Santa Clause as a modern secular/cultural myth. Children can still enjoy the story without actually believing that Santa exists. Families can still pretend that gifts arrived from Santa. Since the child has always considered Santa to be an imaginary person, he/she will not be disillusioned at their parents when their friends tell them that Santa does not exist. Granted there are probably some adults why may believe in Santa Claus as a reality, but I suspect they would be mental patients or some other such people not fully in touch with reality. I really believe that being with family and celebrating the birth of Christ is also important. It’s all around a great time of year!!!!! merry christmas jennifer
You make good solid points jennifer. Well done. I always enjoy your family's love of life and zeal. Not just your Christmas spirit but your spirits throughout the year. I am so blessed for knowing your wonderful family. Love Adam
