VANCOUVER!!!
Tomorrow is the day, well, I guess it is creeping into today. I am just finishing packing stuff and Adam is at work. As soon as he is off work then we are going to pack up and head out on our grand adventure! I can't wait! We are just going to travel down south to visit Adam's Grandparents and his mom. All the kids care about is going on the sky train! It is so cute how easy it is to really impress kids. Well, I will be gone for about 1 week and as soon as we get back the kids start swim lessons. YAY!!! Blogging will be on hold till I return because I don't wanna waste even a moment of this holiday on the computer... well, I am sure I will have to check my email at some point. Talk to y'all later!

Careful Thought
"Now give careful thought to this from this day on- consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD's temple. When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there was only twenty. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not turn to me," declares the LORD. "From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit."

Nursery this week
This week in nursery I scheduled myself for the last time in a while so I could get a few good pics of the kids to start our bulletin board but, my batterie died. I got a couple cuties before though. This is Noah, he fell asleep a few minutes after this. Much more easy to take care of than Gabe, his big bro was! hehe
I had to wait till Sunday, when Tristan knew that Mommy and Daddy were coming home to get a truely happy picture of him... and then he was a little over the top. hahaha. This is the first time I didn't have to trick him into looking at the camera. Thanks again guys for letting me watch him. What a great kid!
Happy 75th!!!
On September 17 it was my grandpa's 75th birthday!!! I have always been really close with my grandparents so it is so nice to be a part of this celebration. We just had cake and coffee at our house. The kids love birthdays... here they are helping to unwrap the gifts. Annabelle couldn't wait. First thing Grandpa had to do was unwrap in her mind :) We had a fun visit. Happy Birthday Grandpa!
This was a framed pic that my uncle gave to Grandpa. The picture is of him and some of his siblings (there were 12 kids in total) at their last family reunion. It took place summer 2006 and the dog at the top is the invitation... it said inside "Celebrate like someone forgot to lock the gate!" My grandpa is such a dog lover too so this was really neat.

Mermaid madness!!!
Well, some people who know me well, know that The Little Mermaid is my all time favourite cartoon movie ever made. I was watching the preveiws with Joshua, on Annabelle's Cinderella movie and guess what???... It is finally being released on DVD October 2006!!! I am so excited!!! I know that The Little Mermaid is a little too scary for my little princess right now but I can't wait to watch it on my own. I havn't since I was a little girl. YAY!!!!!
So what is kind of interesting is that when I was a teenager I was looking online at the story of The Little Mermaid for an English project (partly why I love English so much, I could actually do things that were interesting to me as an individual) and I came across the origional story of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, written in 1836. I ended up doing my project on it. I printed it out today to re-read it. It is much more sad, of course, than the Disney movie but if anyone has an extra bit of time and is interested in reading it... http://hca.gilead.org.il/li_merma.html

Bragging on God
This is what the Lord says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"
declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:23,24
Paul found this important enough to say to the Corinthian church twice.
(1 Cor. 1:31, 2 Cor. 10:17)

I had the pleasure of fishing with my nephew, Aaron, yesterday. We fished Herman's Hole where I got three very small trout on. Aaron did awesome for it being a pretty rainy day. Great casting Aaron!! You'll be an expert in no time. We went to the Copper River after for about 20 minutes until we couldn't see anymore it was so dark.

It finally ends
The transaction is complete and the house is cleaned. It was a lot of work but my mom sold her house. I am so proud of her. It was tough to let it go for all of us as our who lives were wrapped up in the building of it, but what a blessing to be done with it. Christy's parents, Randy and Marlene, bought the place and are so excited to make it their dream home. I love that they bought it because I can still watch the process of it coming together into a dream, like it was always meant to be. I took a few pics for my memories, especially my room as I was always writing stuff on my unfinished walls. Dreams, sometimes they have to die for new ones to start. I know that God has a better plan for my mom.She is starting over, and again, I am so proud of her.
Mom started school this September and is looking into buying a really cute little trailer with some of the money from the sale of the house. How exciting! Pics to come if the sale goes through! Life sure is changing, I think for the better. Thank God that He never changes and that we can always rely on Him when everyting else crumbles. My mom has always been such an example of that for me. Relying on God in every situation and she always comes out better in the end.

Fun with Humpy's
This is a late post but about a week and a half ago we went out fishing with our friends Jason and Tanya and their kiddos. Sam came too and he took pictures for us. We had a great time even though it poured rain. Jason and Tanya's family are troopers like us, anything to get out and try to catch some fish! hehehe I loved it anyway, and the kids had a blast. Nothing keepable was caught but Jason caught a great humpy!
