Christmas Blessing

What a year it has been. The kids are growing so fast and Adam and I are trying to take in, and enjoy every minute of it. I love having the opportunity to stay home with the kids. Joshua is so bright for his age and I have to think of new things to teach him everyday. It is definetely becoming challenging. Annabelle is learning her colors and alphabet now and is very bright as well. She learns so differently than me and Joshua so I am finding it more difficult to teach her. God will show me how to give her what she needs. She is beautiful and so fun. More and more I feel blessed to have the chance to have a daughter. Joel is learning to talk very quickly and over the year has mastered walking, running, falling, crying, laughing, picking up the kitty, "gentle", and so much more. It is so exciting to see him develop a personality and I am excited to see what the new year has in store for the kids. Adam is still working for Choices and we are so thankful God has blessed him with this job. He's put a couple of applications in at Alcan and Eurocan so we'll see what God has planned for us.
We've gone through much joy and much loss this year. My sister Virginia and her boyfriend Blaine moved back to Terrace for about 3 months and are now going to be leaving to work in High Prairie as of December 28th. I will miss her dearly but I am so thankful to have had this amount of time to reconnect with her and Blaine. They are so precious to us and the kids.

Adam's brother Mark and his wife Jennifer moved back to Terrace from New Brunswick with their kids also and we love having them back. They got to meet our kids for the first time and we have really been enjoying every minute we get with them. Thank God for family!!!
Adam's other brother David and his wife Kristi and their family bought a beautiful home this year! That is very exciting!
Adam's sister Jenny and her family, Shane, Gena, Mikaela, and Sierra moved to Edmonton recently for a job. They seem to be doing well but we sure miss them! Can't wait to see them again. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
We all lost Wayne this year (Adam's Dad). This was tremendously hard on the family as Wayne was so important and loved by all. Our family copes by relying on the fact that all things work for good for those who love God. It is amazing how God bands people together at times like that to help each other cope. We have been blessed to have Louise around more than ever and the kids really love their Nanny's company. We thank God for all the encouraging words and prayers that we received during this hard time. Through all the events of the past year Adam and I have been able to grow even closer together.
Adam and I took a marrige course this year and have been working on making our marriage as strong as possible. We really loved the course and have been putting everything that we learned into practise. What a difference it does make!

Well, as Christmas is nearly here, we are celebrating Jesus with the kids and they are loving all the new traditions we are starting. No Christmas tree, but a nativity set surrounded by our gift, given out of love, to celebrate Jesus love for us. Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We are
trying to bring Christ to the center of our Christmas celebrations so as not to confuse the children but to allow them to see clearly what God is really all about.

Luk 18:15-17 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

May God bless you all at Christmas time and in the new year. May His peace, Joy and Love surround you during this season! We love you all!
