Mark at the cemetary. Louise's new truck behind him Posted by Picasa
Everyone just hanging out with Santa in the living room at Mark and Jen's house last night. We took Adam's fish that he caught and went to their house for supper. David and Kristi came as well with Dakota. It was a really nice night. It has been a long time since our last visit because of the kids being sick so we stayed late and really enjoyed ourselves.
It was a full day as Adam went fishing in the morning and when he got home he headed to the graveyard to view the spot his Dad's ashes were placed. Posted by Picasa
Joel having a bottle of chocolate milk (not a usual treat) and playing with his light-saber. He loved this toy and was hanging onto it all night. Posted by Picasa
Joel and Gabiel. We are babysitting Gabe for 10 days while his parents are out of town so we took him over to Mark and Jen's last night. Posted by Picasa

My husband is extremely passionate about the evils of Santa Clause as you will read below. I share his passion that Santa steals the true meaning of Christmas but as Stephanie (our neice) was very proud of her Santa I thought that I would take this nice shot of her and him together. It was cute. Posted by Picasa

X-mas indeed!!!

Went over to Mark and Jen's. Unfortunately there was this Santa there, who sang some Christmas tunes while struting his stuff. I jokingly said I bet he doesn't sing Away In a Manger. I have problems with Santa. If you take the N out of his name and put it at the end it spells Satan and I don't think it's a coincidence. His last name is Clause but proper spelling is CLAWS from the demons hands that sprang forth this character. He lives in the coldest place on Earth to disguise the fact he's from the hottest spiritual place, Hell. A big problem with Santa is the fact he only judges Naughty or Nice but does nothing to help people make up for it and change which is what Christmas and Christ are all about, starting over with Peace with God. Good time to note naughty people get coals in their stocking indicitive of the stoking fires of hell. It's a sad, sad world when Christmas has become all about this fat boy in a red suit instead of the birth of Christ to have people born again and enter heaven. I might add Christ won't sneak in your chimney and take cookies and milk on his way out, this sounds like gluttony and bribery to me and I don't think people can bribe God. But hey let's relax about it. It's only our eternal souls we're talking about here. Cheers!! Posted by Picasa
You can't really tell how huge these fish are here but aren't they beauties?! Posted by Picasa
Adam caught these 2 dolly's out at the Copper River, Sunday after church. He went for about an hour and a half and was back with these huge trout, both about 18.5 inches long! Monday morning he was gone for about 2 hours and came back with 2 more dollys, a bit smaller but boy oh boy these were quite a blessing from God as we were running out of meat in the freezer and payday was a couple days away. GOD is SO GOOD!!! Posted by Picasa

Halloween night at the Hot Springs

For Halloween, instead of doing the trick-or-treating like everyone else, we decided last year to make it an annual Mount Layton Hot Springs night for the family. Adam set up the camera to get this picture of us all at the table having snacks after our swim. What a great night it was for all of us! Posted by Picasa
Annabelle riding the Quarter-horse at the hot springs. This thing has been around a long time and is starting to look in pretty rough shape but it is the cheapest ride around, actually a quarter still! Joshua was a little nervous but Annabelle could have rode this thing all night! Posted by Picasa

We were in at Wal-Mart and just had to buy this cute candy dispenser for the kids. So it is a little like a PEZ dispenser except that you fill his mouth and he poops out candy. ha ha ha! just Adam's sense of humour hey? Posted by Picasa

Went for a walk with the kids in the wagon that they got from their Aunt Jenny and Uncle Shane when they left town. It was such a nice night and as you can tell by Joel, it was comfortable too :) Posted by Picasa

Well, this was Adam's last catch and we forgot to post these. He and a client from work went out for less than an hour and each caught 2 dollys. The other guy only wanted the one so Adam brought the second home. We ate 2 of them that night and gave the third to some friends. I forget the sizes except that I think that the biggest was 17.5 inches. They were beautiful!!! Posted by Picasa

Joel is a real goof these days! Posted by Picasa

The kids, just hanging around the house. While the kids had hand foot and mouth disease, we were home for almost a month straight as it is very contageous to kids. Thank God that is done and we are all healthy and happy again. Posted by Picasa

Though this is not a flattering picture of me, I thought that it was cute. I was nursing Joel and fell asleep and Adam said that the cat was rolling all over Joel as we slept there. Posted by Picasa

I never knew how much Adam would love this cat. Pumkin sits with him all the time. Posted by Picasa

This was Pumpkin's favourite place to sleep until he shredded the bag and fell yesterday. What a silly cat! Posted by Picasa
